11/04/2006- Redwood City Engine Company 20 responded to a report of a kayaker stuck in the Steinberger Slough at 3:10 p.m. The call was dispatched to 450 Tiller Lane at Mariner Park in Redwood Shores stating the kayaker was visible from that location and was reported that the kayaker had called 911 and stated he got stuck 300 yards from shore in the slough when the tide went out. Menlo Park Engine Company 77 and Menlo Park Air Boat 1 responded to the scene and assisted in the rescue.
