10/19/2006- Belmont-San Carlos Fire Department Engine Company 14, Truck Company 13, & Battalion Chief 4 responded to a vehicle accident at 300 El Camino Real at 3:14 p.m. Upon arrival Battalion 4 found multiple vehicles involved and two vehicles with major front end damage. Battalion 4 assumed El Camino I/C and requested the balance of a Full Assignment Response which brought Belmont-San Carlos Engine Company 16, and San Mateo City Engine Company 23 to the scene. At least three ambulances responded for four teenagers that were seriously injured when one of the vehicles was traveling North on El Camino Real when it struck another vehicle pushing it into the Southbound lanes and colliding head-on with another vehicle. Three of the injured were taken to Stanford Medical Center and one was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

10/12/2006- Redwood City Engine Companies 9, 10, 11, Truck Company 9, Battalion Chief 3 and medics responded to the report of a Train vs. Pedestrian at Sequoia Station in Redwood City and found one person Dead on Arrival. The passenger got off the train going in the Northbound direction and got struck by another train going in the Southbound direction.

8/26/2006- This 1-alarm fire at 290 Wheeler Ave in Redwood City damaged a home but was extinguished fast due to a quick attack. Units arrived onscene to find smoke showing from the rear of the house. Redwood City Engine Companies 9, 10, 11, 12, Truck Company 9, Battalion Chief 3, Menlo Park Engine Company 3, and Woodside Battalion Chief 2 responded.

08/14/2006- This 3-alarm grass fire burned about 50-acres on San Bruno Mountain in Brisbane. The fire was first reported at Glen Parkway and Humboldt Road. Brisbane Engine Company 81, Daly City Engine Company 93, South San Francisco Quint Company 62, and North County Battalion Chief 20 responded to the initial alarm and requested additional alarms and resources. Two helicopters and an air tanker from the California Department of Forestry dropped water and retardant on the fire. No structures were damaged thanks to the work of everybody involved.
